The Best of Vintage St. Pat's
It isn't too often in life that you come across a perfect pair. Peanut butter and jelly, salt and pepper, Mickey and Minnie. Well it’s about time we add another pair to that list, Ragstock Vintage and St. Patrick's Day.
There really is no better way to stand out in a sea of green than with a one of a kind piece of St. Patrick’s Day vintage. To prove my point, I am going to show you some of the best vintage pieces that will save you from being pinched on St. Patrick’s Day.
St. Pat’s Party Animal Tee
I mean what's not to love here really? It says everything you could ever need it to say and more. The green color, the pop of orange and gold, and if your plan is to party - consider the plans made.
A t-shirt like this leaves a lot up to the outfitting so feel free to get creative with this one. You can wear it cropped, tucked, or let it hang loose with a pair of tan, white, or black pants. You could even do a light wash pair of blue jeans. I would personally go with the blue jeans for a spring feel, and to finish the look off, toss on a lighter brown leather jacket to beat that early spring chill that’s always still stuck in the air. St Pat’s 1988 Crew
Printed on a vintage Russell Athletics blank, this crewneck is both comfortable and unique. If you haven’t heard of Rolla MO before reading this, I highly recommend looking it up. They live for St. Pats and these crazy crewnecks are a result of a 115 year long tradition at the town's college.
This graphic is a statement piece and should be treated as such. Try pairing this with a pair of white jeans. This ties in the graphic and lets the green be loud and proud. Want to be more subtle with it? Try light wash blue jeans with a baggier cut (like these ones here) and then toss a button up or jacket open over the top. This will still let the graphic peak through and save you from being pinched, but you’ll be adding your green with some one-of-a-kind style. Check Out This Crewneck Here!
Irish Irish Irish
Another sweatshirt here that really says everything it needs to say for St. Patrick's Day. The best part is that this crewneck has that vintage charm you wouldn’t get on a modern reprint.
I love the collar detail on this one and think that it would be a great match to a pair of overalls. You could go from farmers market to darty without needing an outfit change. Check Out This Crewneck Here!
Irish Clover Blarney Woollen Mills Sweater
If graphic sweatshirts aren't your thing and you're looking to have a bit more refined St. Pats look, don't fear, we still have you covered. Check out this Blarney Woollen Mills sweater from the 80s. This is a quality piece of clothing with a heavy weight and really cleanly done design. Keeping with the darker academic style of this piece, we paired it with some brown cords and Converse on our friend Dajuan. Check Out This Sweater Here!
Celtics Jersey
Another venture away from the graphic tees and crewnecks is this vintage Celtics jersey. We styled it oversized as a dress here with some go-go boots for a day of St. Pat’s party festivities. You could also toss this on over a hoodie for a chillier day and pair the look with jeans or khakis. We love green jeans if you have them! Check Out This Jersey Here!
From Hawaiians to Flannels and Graphics Sweatshirts to Knit Sweaters, there is no shortage of green in our vintage stock. Be sure to take a look around and don’t be afraid to get creative with it! Don't forget to show us your finished look by tagging @ragstock on instagram!
