Hello and welcome to mid-August. At this point, we've been running into back-to-school displays at big-box stores for many weeks and it's only natural that fall's favorite pattern is on the mind: plaid. So, are you wondering how to wear plaid in a way that's a little less Cher Horowitz and a little more rock 'n' roll? We all have that flannel shirt in our closet—maybe you're the type that pulls it out as often as a pair of jeans or saves it for your 'outdoorsy' days. However, there's a whole world of plaid out there that falls outside the realm of flannel button-up. Plaid skirts? Definitely trending. Plaid coats? A classic. Plaid pants?
