Ragstock Online Returns Policy – New Merchandise

  • Returns must be received by Ragstock within 14 days of the original delivery date.
  • The customer is responsible for all postage and shipping fees on return shipments.
  • Refunds are initiated within 7 days of receiving the return shipment.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment source.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • The following are not eligible for refunds:
    • Returns received after 14 days of the original shipment date
    • Damaged, washed, worn or altered items, including items returned with deodorant, makeup, smoke, perfume and/or stains
    • Ragstock reserves the right to determine eligibility for refunds, and to update this Policy at any time without notice.
  • If you believe you have received defective merchandise, or were shipped incorrect merchandise (style, size, color), please email us within 5 days of receipt, or send the item back to us postmarked within 5 days of receipt.

How to Return New Merchandise Purchased Online

  • Carefully review our Returns Policy above to make sure your item is eligible to be returned.
  • Include your original packing slip in your return package. If you do not have your packing slip, sign in to your Account on our website, click on Order Status (view), click on your order that contains the item you wish to return, and print out the page for that order.
  • On your packing slip, enter the quantity of items you are returning in the given fields and the reason code:
    1. Do not want
    2. Wrong item was shipped to me
    3. Item was damaged when I received it
      • If item is damaged please provide a detailed description of defect.
  • Put the packing slip, along with the item(s) – with original hang tags attached (if applicable) and in unworn, unwashed, undamaged condition – in a securely sealed shipping package.

  • Ragstock will not be held accountable for lost packages in transit.
  • Write down your tracking number, so you can see when we have received your package.
  • Please allow sufficient time for your package to reach us, plus an additional 7 business days for us to process your return. You will receive an email from us when your return has been processed and credited. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

How to Exchange New Merchandise Purchased Online

    • Send an email to orders@ragstock.com detailing the items you’re returning, and the items you’d like to exchange for. Please include the colors, sizes, and product codes (see “additional information tab on the product page) for the items you are sending back, and the items you would like to exchange for.
    • When we receive your exchange request, we will check on the availability of the items you would like to exchange for. This can take 24-48 hours. When this is complete, you will receive an email authorizing the return.
    • Once your  return has been authorized, ship the merchandise you are exchanging to:

Ragstock Online Returns Policy – Recycled Merchandise

  • Recycled items are not eligible for returns, only exchanges.
  • We screen each item individually for major imperfections, but due to the nature of vintage clothing, minor stains and signs of wear may be present.
  • Sizing may vary significantly from what you expect. Please note the chest width and front length measurements to ensure an accurate fit. Tag size is listed for your convenience, but may not be comparable to modern sizing.
  • The following are not eligible for exchanges:
    • Items received after 14 days of the original shipment date
    • Damaged, washed, worn or altered items, including items returned with deodorant, makeup, smoke, perfume and/or stains.
    • Ragstock reserves the right to determine eligibility for exchanges, and to update this policy at any time without notice.
  • If you believe you were shipped incorrect merchandise (style, size, color), please email us within 5 days of receipt.

How to Exchange Recycled Merchandise Purchased Online

  • Fill out our Recycled Product Exchange Form. Click here to access the form.
  • You will receive an email authorizing within 48 hours.
  • Once your  return has been authorized, ship the merchandise you are exchanging to:

  • Please allow 3 business days for return processing before your exchange is sent.

We do our best to make the order process as quick and smooth as possible.

Orders placed Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays) will begin processing the next morning. Orders placed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will begin processing on Monday morning. If we are able to completely fill your order, you will receive an email with your USPS Priority Mail tracking number on the afternoon that your order is processed.

Changes to your order may only be made prior to your order processing. If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, your card has been charged and your request will be completed as a return.

Orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail the next business day after they are processed. For example, if you place an order on Sunday, it will be processed Monday, and shipped on Tuesday. You will receive a USPS tracking number when your order has completed processing. Priority Mail generally takes 2-3 days in transit before being delivered. Delivery time for Priority Mail is estimated, not guaranteed. If you need your order to arrive by a certain date, please let us know.

USPS Express Mail is available at checkout for orders that meet certain criteria. If you choose Express Mail, please add the date you need the order by to your order notes. We will call or email you ASAP if we anticipate not being able to meet your deadline.

 If any items you ordered are not available, your order will be put on hold. We will not be able to ship your order until we receive a response from you. Please see the product availability tab for more details.

Orders for new merchandise are filled from a retail store with constantly changing inventory. Please be aware that the items you order may not be available. If any of your purchases are out of stock, we will email you as soon as your order is processed. Please watch for our emails! 

If an item you ordered is not available, you can request to substitute an alternative color or size in the same style, or an entirely different item. Alternatively, we can refund you for the price of the missing item and ship the rest of your order. We can also cancel the order and issue a full refund at your request. Please respond directly to our email with your preference for a substitution, partial refund, or full refund.

Recycled items shown as in stock are definitely in stock. If you order one, we’ll have it.

We carry new merchandise from many different manufacturers. Sizing can vary significantly from item to item. Please note the measurements listed on each product page to get a better idea of how an item fits. The width across the chest and the length of the garment from the high point of the shoulder to the bottom hem are listed for most items. If you would like more information about an item, please use the “Product Enquiry” tab and we will gladly answer any questions.

Sizing on recycled items varies wildly. Many categories in our recycled selection are considered unisex, so the size listed on the tag can be deceiving. The best way to determine how an item will fit is to compare the measurements listed to an article of your clothing.  Returns due to sizing issues are not accepted on recycled items. If you need more information about an item, please use the “Product Enquiry” tab and we will address your questions as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

When you place an order on Ragstock.com, we ask you for some personal information. This information is used to process your orders and to communicate with you about the status of your orders. We will not use your email or physical address to send you marketing messages, or anything else you didn’t sign up for. To receive emails with special offers, please sign up here.

COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION

When you place your first order with Ragstock.com, we ask you for your full name, physical address, telephone number and payment information. We’ll never share your telephone number or use it to sell you anything — just to call if there are any urgent questions regarding your order. If you choose to create an account on Ragstock.com, we will store this information so you can use it for you next order. If you want to update your address or change credit cards, go to your account page and make the appropriate changes. If you check out without creating an account, this information will only be stored for future use.

You can always access the personal information you have provided to Tobi by going to your Account page. You can make changes to this information to update your account anytime.

COOKIES

Upon visiting Ragstock.com, cookies are placed on your computer’s hard drive. (Cookies are small pieces of data that are sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your hard drive.) Cookies allow us to track the items you purchase, and help us match your address and credit card information with your order so you don’t need to retype the information each time you visit our site.

We also use cookies to gather usage information, such as the number and frequency of visitors to our site and its various pages. We analyze this data to assess our product lines offered on our site. Automatically logged information is also used to analyze trends and to administer the site.

DISCLOSURE

We will not sell, rent or disclose your any of your information to anyone. Ever. We are not sketchy.

SECURITY

For transmitting your personal information to us, we use a secure server (SSL), which encrypts all of your personal information. This encryption process ensures that the information you give us is protected against unauthorized access. At no point do we ever store or have access to your credit card number. Credit card processing on Ragstock.com is handled by PayPal, the largest payment processor on the Internet. While we make every effort to ensure that your information is secure on our system, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Security is a top priority, and we continue to review our procedures to ensure that your transactions on Ragstock.com are as safe as possible.
